Item Details
An offset lithograph poster for the 1964 Polish film Żywi i martwi (The Alive and the Dead), designed by Jerzy Jaworowski (Polish, 1919-1975). It depicts a black silhouette on an orange background of a Soviet soldier with arm raised and holding a rifle and includes information in Polish about the film. The designer’s signature is in the plate and can be found at the lower left corner. The film was directed by Aleksandr Stolper.
