Vintage Brass Doorknobs from Historic Vernon Manor Hotel

A set of brass doorknobs from the historic Vernon Manor Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio. The knobs feature the ‘VM’ logo in relief on the face, mounted with a decorative escutcheon. The Manor opened its doors in 1924 as a retreat for wealthy Cincinnati residents from the busy downtown riverfront area. The hotel closed in 2009, having been host to the Beatles, Bob Dylan, and President Kennedy and Johnson, among many others.
