Hand-Knotted Fiber Wall Hanging
Item Details
A hand-knotted wall hanging. The decorative textile is constructed of a variety of fibers including jute twine. Broad horizontal bands of sienna and camel fiber have been embellished with densely grouped dimensional loops which form a pattern of triangles and circles along raised horizontal axes which end in thick tassels along the edges of the piece. Wooden dowels stabilize the weaving at each end and there is thick fringe along the bottom.
