This pair of rock and mineral sets features a set titled Minerals and Rocks of the United States and Canada that contains thirty-six labeled specimens with the collection location beneath the specimen name. Also included is a set titles Representative Minerals and Rocks of Connecticut that contains thirty-six specimens that accompanied Connecticut Geological and Natural History Survey miscellaneous series no. 1 published in 1949. Two additional specimens, one a fossil horse tooth and one a Recent scleractinian coral, are also included with this set.
