19th Century C.A.W. Crosby Coin Silver Flatware with F&H Spoon

A twenty-two piece collection of coin silver forks and spoons from Boston retailer Charles August Wilkins Crosby (active 1852-1894). This includes nine forks and thirteen spoons, featuring handles with reeded edges, leaf motif decoration, and personalized engravings. They are marked ‘C.A.W. Crosby Pure Coin’ to the backs. This set is also presented with a coin silver spoon with etched handle by Farrington & Hunnewell, marked ‘F&H Pure-Coin’ to the back. The total approximate weight is 21.385 ozt.
