A collection of three etchings by various artists. It includes Buffet’s Point by Robert Shaw (American, 1859 – 1912) depicting sailing vessels off a rocky promontory. It is signed ‘Rob Shaw’ in the plate to the lower left and mounted under glass with a white mat in a gilt trimmed wooden frame that is wired for hanging. The etching by James Grant (English, 1887 – 1974) depicts a variety of boats on Thames River in London and the dome of St. Paul’s Cathedral in the background. It is mounted under glass with a cream mat in a gilt finished wood frame that is wired for hanging. The Old Treadle , signed Titus , features an old fashioned sewing machine, and is signed to the lower right and numbered 58/200 to the lower left. It is mounted under glass with a dark orange mat in a dark gray metal frame.
Condition
- condition varies; The Old Treadle is slightly toned and has minor wear to the frame; Buffet’s Point and print of St. Paul’s have varying degrees of age discoloration and foxing to the prints and mats, and both have scratches and loss of finish to the frames.
