Indian Miniature Gouache Painting on an Eight Annas Note from Kotah

A 20th-century Indian Mughal style miniature gouache painting on an eight annas note from the ‘Government of His Highness The Maharao of Kotah.’ The note is printed on a large sheet of paper and in the blank space is a women in vibrant gouache paint and gold leaf decoration. Hand written script scrolls down the page in the background. The sheet is presented in a pressed glass frame with a composite wood frame.
Condition
- back pane of glass has a large crack through it.
