Item Details

A hand-knotted semi-antique Persian Kashan area rug. This wool area rug features a red field with a central medallion surrounded by elaborate floral and foliate motifs with spandrels in ivory and violet. This rug also shows colors of turquoise, mustard, green, and beige, bordered with a violet herati pattern with multiple carnation meander guards. The brightly colored rug is finished with overcast edges with a short natural warp ivory fringe to the ends. Marked with a tag that reads, ‘Made in Iran’.
