A hand-knotted vintage Persian Kurdish Bijar rug. This wool area rug features a crimson field with an indigo pendant medallion filled with animal, geometric, and floral motifs, showing multiple borders including, checked, diamond and stylized floral patterns. This rug also shows colors in sepia, ivory, burgundy, hunter, rose, and tan, finished with overcast edges with a natural warp ivory short fringe. Marked with a tag that reads, ‘Made in Iran’.
