Here, Maitreya is depicted as a bodhisattva, seated in the lalitasana pose upon a lotus throne, with one leg pendant supported by a blooming lotus flower. He holds his hands in the dharmachakra mudra symbolizing turning the wheel of Law (dharma). The figure is elegantly dressed in the adornments of a bodhisattva and flanked by blossoms. Unmarked.
