Signed 30th Anniversary Detroit Tigers 1968 World Series Champions Bat

Item Details

A signed 30th Anniversary of the 1968 Detroit Tigers World Series Championship baseball bat. The bat commemorates the 1968 World Series Champion Detroit Tigers MLB team. The Tigers won the Series in seven games against the St. Louis Cardinals, which was their first World Series title since 1945. The Tigers came back from a 3-1 deficit in the Series, based mainly on the talents of pitcher Mickey Lolich, who to this day is the last pitcher to win three complete-game victories in a World Series. His signature, along with other players such as Gates Brown, Al Kaline, Willie Horton and many others are noted in blue ink throughout the bat. The bat is marked as a Louisville Slugger 125 Hillerich & Bradsby Co, Louisville, KY and 30 Year Anniversary, 1968 World Series Champions to the natural finish. A certificate of authenticity is included.
