A 19th Century Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze small head of Gautama Buddha on a rosewood stand. The small head features the iconic downward facing eyes, urna on the forehead and long earlobes. The hair is styled with snail shell curls over the turban conical ushnisha. The head is attached to the stand by a type of putty.

Condition

Some sun fading on the stand.

The size above refers to the head secured to the base. The head alone measures 2" tall x 1" wide.
