A vintage hand-knotted Persian Lillihan Sarouk wool rug. This wool rug features a deep crimson field with a gray central medallion surrounded and filled with all-over floral motifs with larger blooms to the spandrels. The rug shows colors in pale blue, mustard, greens, taupe, and beige, bordered with herati patterns along with other floral motifs and finished with overcast edges and a short natural warp ivory fringe. The rug is marked with a tag that reads ‘Made in Iran’.
