Item Details
An antique hand-colored photo of ‘Henrietta’. This exquisite piece features an outdoor scene with an expressive young girl as its subject. She is dressed in a handkerchief linen dress and is seated on a large stone. It is uniquely framed exposing a portion of the verso which translates, ‘Souvenir from her grandfather Riccard, to his granddaughter Henrietta, 27th October 1894’. It is signed J. Bailly in the lower right corner. The photo and the frame in which it is mounted are presented in a dark wood shadowbox frame, ready to hang, with wire affixed to the verso.
