A Limoges bisque porcelain bust of a young boy, after Houdon’s sculpture of Alexandre Brongniart, son of French architect Alexandre-Theodore Brongniart. The bust is designed with an integral pedestal base glazed in cobalt blue and rimmed in gold paint. The porcelain sculpture includes maker’s mark ‘C. Tharaud, Limoges France’ on bottom.
