A serigraph on paper titled Ebony in White by Erté (1892-1990). Erté was born Roman Petrovich Tyrtov, to a distinguished military family in St. Petersburg, Russia. He would go on to an illustrious career as a costume, set designer, artist and illustrator working on The Follies Bergère, The Ziegfeld Follies and for publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Ladies Home Journal, Cosmopolitan and Vogue. This fine art poster is hand signed by the artist to the lower right. It is presented under glass in a silver tone metal frame, wired to hang.

- creases to paper on left side of the image area; nicks and scratches to frame.
