Collection of Vintage Sterling and Metal Vanity Items
Item Details
A collection of vintage vanity items. This assortment includes approximately nine pieces. It features an A.G. Schultz & Co. cup with a personal engraving to the front, an R. Wallace & Son round plate with engraved scroll and cross hatch design to the edges, embossed scrolled trim, and an engraving of ‘George Jr. From Bobbie, Jan. 27, 1913’ to the center, and a Mexican sterling oval tray with an engraving to the center that reads, ‘1934 CNG 1959’ with floral edges. These pieces are accompanied by a square makeup compact, a 1933 round Charles S. Green & Co Ltd. of Birmingham British sterling compact with an engraved wave pattern and a rectangular frame engraved, ‘Pat’ to the center, a small round sterling compact with an embossed floral and foliage design on the top, and a silver tone metal hand mirror with a rectangular frame. The lot also includes a glass bottle with a metal base and lip, a Lalique frosted crystal ring holder dish with a bird figurine in the center, and a brown glass hand mirror. The Lalique dish is marked, ‘Lalique, France’ to the underside. The total approximate weight of the sterling pieces is 19.85 ozt.
