An offset lithograph after an engraving after Sula Bassana, Linn by Scottish American Ornithologist Alexander Wilson (1766-1813). This print depicts a Common Gannet perched on a rock by the coast with several Gannets nesting in the background. The print is marked 54. to the upper right and J. Wolf & H.C. Richer, del et lith – Sula Bassana, Linn. – Walter, Imp. – to the lower margin. This piece is presented in double mauve matting, behind glass, and in a gold-tone composite frame. The verso of this piece is equipped to frame.
