Splint Seat Chairs

Item Details

A pair of splint seat chairs. This includes one children’s and one standard size chair, each with ladder backs and woven splint seats. The children’s chair features arms and rises on four cylindrical legs with tapered feet and a box stretcher between them; the standard-size chair rises on similar legs with a double box stretcher.

• Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport. Unless shipping arrangements are available and made by the winning bidder, that individual is advised to bring appropriate assistance, vehicle, proper materials, and any necessary tools to pickup.

- wear and minor scratches to finish; “1871” carved into one chair.
