Power-Loomed Karastan "Serapi" Area Rug

A power-loomed Serapi area rug by Karastan. This American-made wool rug features a stylized herati pattern incorporating palmettes, rectilinear vines, and flotets over a terracotta-colored field. Framing the field are three borders, including a stylized herati border featuring palmettes and flower heads over a royal blue ground. The palette is terracotta, royal blue, celadon, and powder blue. Selvedges are bound; ends finish with applied tan fringe. The rug is labeled on the reverse.
