The rectangular metal box features a hinged lid, a gold-toned handle, embossed paneling, and a riveted blue and gold-toned tag marked: ‘John Sexton & Co., Manufacturing, Wholesale Grocers, Chicago, Established 1883, Edelweiss Quality Food Products.’ It includes a silver-toned metal letter opener with a ruled back edge.
