Vintage Eastlake Style Side Chair and Foot Stool

A vintage Eastlake style side chair and foot stool. This set includes an upholstered chair with curved crest rail featuring a carved leaf and scroll motif with scalloped ears rising on fluted stiles flanking a red upholstered back panel with gimp trim. The upholstered seat rests on a thin apron with burl veneer panel rising over a decorative apron detail rising on curved legs and terminating on casters. Also includes a rectangular top foot stool with needle work cushion top with black fabric and floral pattern. The cushion rests on a cherry frame rising on cabriole legs. There are no visible maker’s marks.
