Vintage Louis XVI Style Arm Chairs with Accent Pillows

Item Details

A pair of vintage Louis XVI style arm chairs with accent pillows. The chairs feature curved crest rails with carved ribbon and leaf motifs above an upholstered back bordered by gimp trim and flanked by reeded stiles. The curved and sloped armrests rise on reeded and turned supports flanking an upholstered seat cushion. The chair rises on tapered and reeded legs terminating in arrow feet. The seat and back panel have been reupholstered in a brown fabric with a blue, green, red, and purple floral design. There are no visible maker’s marks.
