A signed artist’s proof lithograph on paper titled Discovery by contemporary Brazilian artist Fernando de Jesus Olivera, better known as Ferjo (b. 1946). This vibrant Surrealist work features an interior space decorated with Modern art compositions on the walls, looking out through a doorway that opens to the sea. Various objects including bubbles, a butterfly, insects, cracked eggs, books, and a colored pencil float throughout the scene. The work is signed in gold-tone ink to the lower right; it is marked ‘AP’ to the lower left and a blind stamp from Logo Art New York is also present to the lower left. The composition is not matted and remains unframed.
