Rookwood "Man-O-War" Figurine on Base

A Rookwood figure depicting ‘Man-O-War’. The piece is a William McDonald design and is covered with the ivory matte glaze. The underside is impressed with the Rookwood symbol, is dated 1947, and shape no. 6202. Although listed in Rookwood’s Shape Record as a bookend, he makes a much better figure.
