Vintage Silver Plate Serveware Including Homan and Smith & Co.
Item Details
A collection of silver plate serveware including an antique plated nickel silver tray by Homan Manufacturing Company and a plated white metal pitcher by Smith & Co. The tray features a square shape with a floral border and double handles embellished with carved cherubs. The underside is marked ‘Homan Plate on Nickel Silver W.M. Mounts Made in U.S.A. 03123 Patent Pending’. The footed, urn shaped pitcher features the engraved image of a house accented by a Greek key pattern, beaded trim, and a scrolled handle. The underside is marked ‘Smith & Co. Extra Plate on White Metal Albany’.

- to fair; moderate to heavy tarnish and scratches.
