Ernst Wahliss Turn Hand Painted Porcelain Vase

Item Details

A 20th-century Ernst Wahliss Turn Vienna porcelain vase. The vase features inset triangular ‘jewels’ near the top rim, and a hand painted rose and leaf motif in vibrant shades of pink and green. It is signed ‘C. Dufour’ to the bottom of the rose spray. The rim and base are raised in light relief, with a gold tone organic frieze. A red mark of a shield surmounted by a coronet with “Turn/E/W” and “Made In Austria” is present to the underside of the vessel along with hand written notations. The numbers 9044 are incised on the base as well.
