Antique Astral Table Lamp with Cut Crystal Lustres

An antique 1840-1850s Astral table lamp. The buffet lamp has a frosted and etched colorless shade with grape motif. The shade is supported by a brass frame with hanging snowflake patterned lustres attached to a brass, fluted shaft on a square plinth, with white and grey stepped carrerra marble base. The lamp has a single standard socket, has been converted from an oil lamp, and is unmarked.

- powers on; significant wear to brass finish stem; tiny chips in marble base; one chip to a crystal pendant, repair has been made to a piece of hanging wire to crystal
