Antique South Indian Brass Chola Style Statue of Krishna and His Wives

A late 18th or 19th-century South Indian brass statue. The piece depicts the Hindu deity Krishna in the center with his two principle wives Rukmini standing to his right, and Satyabhama, each holding their emblematic flowers. The figures, rendered in the style of the Chola dynasty (c. 850-1250) are presented on an etched plinth, and each figure is cast separately and can be free standing.
