Item Details

A 20th-century Chinese carved soapstone seal. This seal is carved with a finial of a lion and its cubs, which is supported by four dragon figural columns to the body surrounding relief panels depicting scholars. It also features etched floral motifs to the banded squares and a four character mark to the underside.

Condition

- some faint hairline cracks to the columns; wear to surface; would benefit from dusting.
