Item Details
A pair of etchings and an engraving after Henry Alken’s (1785-1851) original work. Included are two hand-colored etchings after Finding and The Death. Also included is an engraving by I. Clark after Fox Hunting – Breaking Cover. Each print is presented on heavy rag paper with an embossed plate marking and text to the lower margins denoting artist, title, and publisher.
Condition
- smudges visible on prints; pencil inscription to lower right margin; edges show wear and tear with discoloration along the borders.
Dimensions
- measurements of single sheet; each print sheet measures approximately the same.
