A Treasures of the Imperial Dynasties miniatures set from Franklin Porcelain. The twenty-four pieces in this lot feature various transferware Asian images such as blossoms, men and women in court dress, butterflies, landscapes, carp, dragons and more nesting in two wooden display case painted black with sawtooth brackets and hooks for hanging. The pieces with floral motifs to the sides are marked to the base with the name of the flower, such as ‘Magnolia’ and ‘FP – Limited Edition – 82 FP – Made in Japan’. Other blossoms represented include chrysanthemum, cherry, lotus, peony, mallow, pomegranate, pear, gardenia, peach, and plum. The items are marked with 1980 and 1982 dates.
