An oil painting on canvas by listed Hungarian artist Istvan J Porubszky (born 1927). The piece depicts a late autumn wilderness landscape, with a glassy stream and colorful trees set against a foggy backdrop accented with pockets of snow. The work is signed in white paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a gold tone wooden frame embellished with embossed foliate gesso accents to the edges. The frame includes a linen liner and gold tone fillet, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
