An a la poupee etching with aquatint by Bastogy of boats with red sails. It depicts the fishing boats at moor and fishermen on the dock mending a net. The first name of the artist’s signature to the lower right is illegible and the last name is Bastogy and the number 72 is written to the lower left. It is mounted under glass with a French lined mat in a painted and gilded wooden frame with carved decoration at each corner and is fitted with a sawtooth hanger.

Condition

- to fair; print misaligned under mat; some dirt and residue under glass, especially near edges; minor discoloration to edges of mat; dents and wear to frame throughout; tape and dust to the verso.
