An abstract acrylic painting Alphabet by contemporary Cincinnati-based artist Lisa Schafer (21st century). This abstract composition is comprised of a field of nebulous neutral colors partially obscuring letters, numbers, and script. In a soft palette of gray, white, and pale yellow with light violet accents. Signed _LJSL in graphite to the lower right. To the verso, wired to hang.

Lisa Schafer received an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering and a Master’s in Digital Designed from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). Schafer’s work is represented in galleries across the United States including the Argosy Gallery in Bar Harbor, Maine and the Gallery Veronique in Montgomery, Ohio. Her work is housed in private and corporate collections including the Muska and Lipman Publishing Company and The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
