Salvador Dalí Original Engraving "L'aéroplane"

A signed limited edition engraving with pochoir coloring on Arches fine printmaking paper by famed Spanish Surrealist Salvador Dalì (1904 – 1989), titled L’aéroplane from the artist’s series Hommage à Leonardo da Vinci. The engraving with pochoir depicts a skeleton and large brown bird floating over a geometric blueprint of a machine of some sort. The scene is illustrated in thin black and brown linework filled with pastel fields of color. The engraving with pochoir is signed and numbered 118/450 in pencil to the lower corners. It is double-matted in white and black and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with brushed gold tone finish and a hanging wire. A certificate of authenticity from Animation & Fine Art Galleries is included.
