A limited edition serigraph The Disciples by well-listed Cincinnati artist Edie Harper (1922 – 2010). This print depicts a group of stylized female figures arranged in four rows in front of a wall of stained glass. Signed, titled, and numbered (106/750) by hand in graphite to the lower margin. Double matted in red and textured silver tone and presented behind glass. The frame is constructed of molded composite in a silver tone. To the verso, equipped to hang.

Edie Harper described herself as a “Jill of all trades trying to master one” since she had been successful in many areas of art including photography, wood sculpture, weaving, and jewelry design, as well as painting and printmaking. Her husband, well-known artist and illustrator Charley Harper, called her “the thinking man’s Bible illustrator.” Edie’s work has been exhibited at the Cincinnati Art Museum, Andover Art Museum, and the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, as well as many others.
