An original acrylic painting on canvas by contemporary Cincinnati-based artist Lisa Schafer (21st century), titled Retro Vibe. The painting depicts a vertically-striped composition painted in textured fields of green, yellow, coral, red, and burgundy stripes with various painted and carved textures and patterns. The painting is signed in ink to the lower left corner and is titled to the verso. It is presented without matting or framing, but is gallery-wrapped and ready to hang. Lisa Schafer received an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering and a Master’s in Digital Designed from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). Schafer’s work is represented in galleries across the United States including the Argosy Gallery in Bar Harbor, Maine and the Gallery Veronique in Montgomery, Ohio. Her work is housed in private and corporate collections including the Muska and Lipman Publishing Company and The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
