Vintage Civil Defense and American Legion Helmets
Item Details
A pairing of circa 1950s-1960s vintage steel helmets. One is a US Civil Defense air raid warden helmet, while the other is painted with an American Legion logo for Barnett Post 123 but is also marked ‘Property of OCD’ (Office of Civil Defense) to the inside of the front brim. They have leather and/or canvas liners and straps.

- wear to painted finish consistent with age.
