An antique Alvin Manufacturing Company sterling silver letter opener. This has a curved and pointed blade, with an ornate foliate embellished handle featuring three barrels with the initials “POD”, and an artist palette and brushes. It reads “Reporter” between the dates 1871 and 1896. The approximate weight is 1.000 ozt.
