An oil painting on canvas of a cockatoo by listed artist, Edith Montlack (1914 – 2003). The painting is rendered in vibrant hues and depicts a solitary Sulphur-crested cockatoo perched on a branch, surrounded by a myriad of flowers. It is signed by hand to the lower left corner. This painting is presented unframed with hanging hardware to the verso.

- minor surface abrasion to composition; wear to the edges of canvas; hanging string to the verso is broken.
