A hand-knotted Kerman area rug. The rug features a floral central medallion in a palette of light blue, dark blue, and pink on a cream field. The field is populated by floral bouquets and is enclosed by a compound border. The border features a floral pattern with embellished floral palmettes along each spandrel in a complementary palette with a light blue background. The rug has an overcast edge and a long fringe to either end. Unmarked.
