Item Details
An antique Persian area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in an abrashed palette of madder red, indigo, and tan. It features stylized palmettes, flowers, lancet leaves, and vines over a madder red field. The field is framed by three borders, including a stylized Lambalo main border over red. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with shorn fringe. Unlabeled.
