A Persian Kerman area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of cerulean, sapphire, cream, pink, and crimson. It begins with an elongated floral medallion over a partially open cerulean field. Framing the field is a classic Kerman riot of florals and broken borders. A sapphire outer guard border peeks through where it can. Selvedges are overcast. Ends finish with tan knotted wool warp fringe. The rug is unlabeled.
