Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist. The piece depicts several white sheep and a small brown and white goat gathered at a farm’s hay feeder, set on patchy ground against a mottled brown background. The unsigned work is presented without glass in a wooden frame with scrolled gesso embellishments to the edges, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- to Fair; wear to painting with craquelure, scratches and small white marks scattered throughout; stretcher marks to edges of canvas; nicks, surface wear and scratches to frame; no backing paper.
