Brass Sculpture After Frederic Remington's "Bronco Buster"

A bronze sculpture after the sculpture by Frederic Remington (1861-1909), the very popular American West artist of the 19th century. This striking piece, titled Bronco Buster, depicts a wild horse trying to throw his rider while the hardened cowboy stays in the saddle to break this bucking bronco. The base is engraved with a reproduction signature. Back of horse is branded with a triangle in a circle brand. The sculpture has been mounted onto a marble base.

- missing riding crop in right hand; dust in crevices; surface wear.
