An oil painting on canvas. This landscape depicts the view of a river valley carved between two rocky embankments and full of lush greenery from a small pasture where two cows lounge. It is unsigned and presented in a gold tone frame that is wired for hanging.
Condition
- craquelure throughout the image; dirt is showing around the image; paint is lifting around the sky near top; some light white stains are showing in the upper area of the sky and around the middle left of the image area; frame showing nicks and scratches; paint is lifting off the frame in some areas; the corner joins are separating.
