Bear and Fisherman Figurines Including Royal Tara
Item Details
A pair of bear and fisherman figurines. The fly fishing gentleman wears a cap, a blazer, high wading boots, and carries a crossbody bag over his shoulder. He lifts his arms and hands to pull back the line; the rod and line are missing from the piece. A fish leaps out of the water at his feet. This work is marked to the felted base with a sticker that reads ‘Irish Bronze Collection – Royal Tara – Fly Fisherman – CB280’. The other metal figurine, a similar piece, depicts a seated bear lifting up rock slabs at a stream. The felted wood surface underneath is not marked, but the back of the metal portion of the base is marked in the surface ‘25 of 30’.
