An offset lithograph of a buffalo after a painting, titled Chief, by listed Canadian wildlife artist Robert Bateman (born 1930). This detailed print, captured in naturalistic tones, depicts a misty view of the bison looking out toward the viewer, its immense size not even contained by the margins of the image. This piece is signed in plate to the lower right corner, and is presented under glass and a leather-patterned mat in a wood frame with wire for hanging. There is a gold tone plaque to the lower edge of the frame containing the title and the artist’s name.
