Offset Lithograph After Andrew Wyeth's Painting "Christina's World"
Item Details
An offset lithograph on paper of an original painting titled Christina’s World by Andrew Newell Wyeth (American, 1917-2009). This print depicts a girl laying in a blueberry field looking at a house and a barn in the distance and is signed in plate to the lower right. Mounted under a double layer of beige matting, the print is presented under glass in a gold tone metal frame. A wire is present to the verso for hanging purposes. The original painting of this work was one of Wyeth’s most popular pieces and is currently housed in the Museum of Modern Art.
Condition
- water damage to the right side of the print and matting; water damage evident to the upper left of verso; dust in the top corners of the matting; glass could benefit from cleaning.
